Featuring a slightly thinner walnut Songwriter body with a comfortable cutaway, a solid Sitka spruce top, and a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, it delivers exceptional projection, balance, and playability. Breaking new ground as the first Gibson acoustic fitted with a 24-fret neck, this guitar features an ebony fingerboard adorned with striking mother-of-pearl Teeth inlays and Dave Mustaine-inspired Vic Rattlehead artwork on both the pickguard and headstock. Equipped with the high-output LR Baggs VTC pickup system, Grover Rotomatic tuners, TUSQ nut, saddle and bridge pins, the Dave Mustaine Songwriter is equally at home on stage, in the studio or around the campfire.
